- Wednesday 6/12/13 to Sunday 6/16/13
How to Play:
Kill Bosses or Do Jobs to obtain "Hands" of Cards to make Chips
You can execute players to steal Cards and Colored Chips
Collect 1 of Each Chip to create a Gold Chip in Tech Lab
Gold Chips can not be Stolen
Collect as many Gold Chips as you can to obtain rewards
To obtain a Blue Chip
- Full House - 3 of one Card, 2 of another Card
To obtain a Red Chip
- Four of a Kind - 4 of one Card
To obtain a Green Chip
- Royal Flush - 1 of Each Card (A, K, J, 10)
Rewards:
35 gold = 1* Lady Luck Epic Lt
20 gold = 2 x F1 Racers
10 gold = 1* Ariel rare Lt
5 gold = 10x Gold Scratchers
3 gold = 3x Stamina Potion
1 gold = 1 x Energy Potion
Top 10 = 3* Lady Luck Epic Lt
Top 50 = 2* Lady Luck Epic Lt
Top 200 = 1* Lady Luck Epic Lt
Top 1000 = 2* Ariel rare Lt
Top 5000 = 10x Gold Scratchers
Top 10000 = 3x Stamina Potion
Top 20000 = 1 x Energy Potion

I will say that I like they are having a set goal levels for the rewards instead of a race who can collect the most. Sixx's event would have been great but there were the kids that bought hundreds of the potions so they could get top ten.

My Bad, there is some top rewards along with the set rewards but at least this way if you participate at all you'll at least get two prizes

For anyone wondering, their "deck" only consists of 5 cards, so it won't be hard to make hands. I woul make royal flushes when possible, then use the extras for the other chips.

As I said in the shout box, last event it seemed more profitable to steal from other players. Don't know for sure that's the case here.I did all the small jobs last time to 5 stars, and I just couldn't get many pieces. But u could steal upon execution. Just my 2 cents.

Last event they opened the new boss medallion resurrection when this event starts do u think they'll open the locked boss dragon core of sin?

Mo likely they will. We need to be aware of this and leave a spot open so this boss can be throw up right away.

Ok so the days before no one will start a boss and as soon as it becomes available we all gift the piece to one person to increase the chance of them getting all the pieces quicker and can throw the boss up sooner

OK guys, I have some more info. Last time, PvP was a great way to get components for 3 reasons: 1) you could see exactly what people had before PvP and 2) the execute was pretty much guaranteed to get you that item and 3) it was not that stamina intensive. I know I got lots of components from PvP during the Pirate Six event. However, this event does not seem to be the same. Firstly, I only seem to see the chips that people have, not cards, so it is not like you can target specific cards to take of a specific player. Secondly, the executes have a relatively low chance of succeeding, at least if the graphics are to be believed. I executed someone and got this display (see figure 1).  Figure 1.It would seem that stealing cards will only succeed 40% of the time. Of course, it is even more difficult to steal chips - this will only succeed 15% of the time. Thirdly, the stealing executions are much more expensive than last time. Steal Cards costs 10 Stamina while Steal Chip costs 5 Stam (again from figure 1). Having said that, it all works. Figure 2 shows that I succeeded in stealing cards of the sucker I hit (they hit me first, and I got 140K off them at the same time!). It shows I got 4 cards out of a maximum of 7. I assume you could get as few as 1 card if you were unlucky enough (or zero in the 60% of cases where you don't actually succeed).  Figure 2.Anyway, this is a long winded way of saying that PvP may not be as profitable this time around. |

I am at 5 gold coins now and I did that by a combination of jobs, attacking bosses and PvP... I just don't see a real system behind getting cards from jobs or bosses. Seems somehow randomly and very low chance to get cards.

I executed 5 times (spent 100 stamina total) and got nada. Frustrated with pvp! No coins no cards.

Dont pvp for cards and only do for chips and only if u need one

I starte off 2/2 stealing chips but at this point I'm like 3/8. I am however, 0/4 stealing cards. 2 gold chips now.
